Hi Backers,
You may have noticed that we’ve now locked orders on BackerKit, indicating that they’re almost ready to ship to you! You only have 48 hours to make any changes to your shipping details - please make sure you review these to ensure we send your rewards to the correct address.
Everything is progressing well, with ProPoint mice now having been dispersed around the globe. To enable pain-free global fulfilment for you, we’ve opted to use a number of fulfilment centers around the world. The majority of orders will be fulfilled by Amazon from within your local region.
Our shipments to the USA & the UK have landed and are now being unloaded and processed by customs. Once that is complete they will again start to move to our warehouses and the Amazon fulfilment centers. Once they arrive and are processed by Amazon, they will ship to US and EU based backers.
The smaller shipments to Canada and Australia have already been cleared and are now in the Amazon fulfilment centers. They are scheduled to ship out to backers this week.
Backers outside of the areas mentioned above (primarily those in the Asia-Pacific region) will have their orders shipped by our fulfilment partner in Hong Kong. Our freight forwarder has indicated that our Hong Kong fulfilment partner should receive the goods by the end of this week.

Hi Backers
A further update on the status of shipping!
We’ve been heavily engaged with our freight forwarders in the US to understand the likely implications of the new round of tariffs imposed by the US Government on imports into the US from China. We’re sure you’ll understand it’s been important for us to get a clear understanding of the impact of these tariffs on our costs, particularly as a high percentage of our backers are located in the US.
We’ve now clarified the situation. On the one hand, we’re disappointed that the outcome will most certainly result in additional costs; on the other hand, we’re pleased to let you know we’ve decided to bear these costs ourselves so that this will not result in any additional cost to you, our Backers.
With this resolved, we’ve given instruction for shipments to get underway, and our expectation is that the majority of Backers will still receive their rewards around the end of November - although it’s possible there will be likely some, we hope not too many, deliveries in early December. Below you can see 5,000 mice packed and ready to go!
Your ongoing patience is now very close to being rewarded. We’ll be back in touch as the shipment and delivery process gathers momentum.

Hi Backers,
I’m happy to report that production has been going well, and nearly all of the crowdfunding units are now complete and will be ready to start shipping soon. I have the complete package on my desk and here's a photo of everything you'll receive.
We have been working with BackerKit and are right now in the process of sending out surveys to Kickstarter backers. Once this has been completed and we have everyone's address, we will be able to begin the shipping phase.

Hi Backers!
After many hours of thorough review and tool tuning, we’ve now released all parts for mass production.
Our production partner enjoyed a well deserved week off this month to celebrate the Chinese National Holiday, Golden Week. They’re back at full capacity this week and have already completed the ProPoint MPQ (Mass Production Qualification) run and produced our first 100 mice!
Our lead production engineer, Ian, is at the factory today and will be carrying out testing to ensure that this run of ProPoint mice reaches our high standards. As soon as he can confirm that the quality is what we expect, the mass production of your ProPoint mice will begin. We expect this to happen within a week - I’m sure you’re excited about this as I am!
I can now confidently confirm that we will begin the first shipments of mice out of the factory before the end of the month. This means that you can expect to have your ProPoint mouse in your hands before the end of November. I would have liked to have them to you in October as we originally planned, but we were delayed slightly by both Golden Week and our many trips to the factory to make sure that every single component was manufactured perfectly to our specifications. We apologise for the small delay but we have not wanted to compromise on quality. We’ve made a number of small changes and adjustments on the way through and are very happy with these first production mice.

Hi Backers!
Our team has returned to the office after a long but productive trip.
After many hours of thorough review and tool tuning, they’ve now signed off 90% of the mechanical parts for mass production. Samples of the remaining parts will be arriving at our office this week for final checks and sign off.
Below are some photos from the factory of the sign-off process. As you can see there is a lot to work through!

Once all of the parts have been signed-off, our production partner will kick off a Mass Production Qualification (MPQ) run to ensure the quality of all ProPoint mice reach our high standards. We expect to begin the production build by mid-October which means that our target to begin shipping in October is going to be tight, we are still pushing to achieve it though and will keep you updated every step of the way. :)
As well as the work on production, we have been running ProPoint through multiple certification programs, including; CE, FCC, Industry Canada, CTick, Japanese Certification, ROHS, REACH.
